PUSLINCH, Ontario, August 27, 2018 - CannTx Life Sciences Inc. (the “Company” or “CannTx”) is thrilled to announce that it has received its genetic starting materials. This represents the commencement of Cannabis cultivation activities at the Company facility in Puslinch, Ontario. 

The CannTx team will begin cultivation of vegetative propagations. These starting materials will supply the Company’s own operations to produce high quality medical-grade Cannabis in satisfaction of Health Canada’s ACMPR pre-sale requirements for the issuance of a License to Sell. Going forward, CannTx will continue cultivation with the intention to expand donor stock to further populate the Company’s remaining grow rooms, scaling to operate at 100%, and supplying its commercial-scale micropropagation laboratory with inputs. 

The CannTx team has built a cultivation facility with state-of-the-art controlled growth environs, capable of accommodating proprietary vertical farming systems paired with industry leading micropropagation capabilities. The CannTx solution is expected to result in highly productive operations with exceptional standardization of finished products. 

This marks another important milestone for the company as it continues to focus on expediting growth of the business to provide standardized, premium floral product to medical Cannabis patients and future adult-use consumers across Canada.
